Description
4 1/2" (11 cm.) Each is all bisque with one-piece bisque head and torso, oversized head with bald pate, painted large blue round eyes, button-shaped nose, tiny closed mouth with inverted "V" lips, painted white smock, painted blue or pink slippers. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: He-Bee and She-Bee, designed by the American illustrator Charles Twelvetrees, 1920s, and made in Germany. Value Points: dear little pair, including both the boy and girl versions.
