12" (30 cm.) Solid domed bisque shoulder head, painted hair in short boyish fashion, painted facial features with downcast squinting tiny blue eyes, black upper eyeliner, one-stroke brows, closed mouth with downcast fretful expression, kid body with pin jointing, bisque lower arms, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1 Heubach (square) Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: sought-after rare character model with most realistic expression, especially fine sculpting appears nearly to be hand-pressed.
