27" (69 cm.) Poured wax shoulder head with very plump face, blue glass inset eyes, dark upper eyeliner, delicately painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde hair in delicately-inserted tendrils, softly-stuffed original muslin body with stitch-jointing at hips and knees, poured wax arms to above the elbows, and legs from above the knees. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: English, in the Pierotti manner, circa 1880. Value Points: grand luxury model with entrancing gentle expression, original body and limbs, and wearing original costume comprising a silk tiered dress with fringe detail, silk bonnet, woven socks, and very fine kidskin heeled shoes in a similar manner to Huret.
