7" (18 cm.) The light-wood chaise a porteur (sedan chair) with rose silk cover has silver scrolled designs and velvet covered roof, carrying rods and trim. The sedan chair hinges open at the center to reveal rose moire paper lined interior and a rose silk candy container sack. Near mint condition, French, circa 1886, most charming example of a luxury presentation candy box.
