Description
9 1/2" (24 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, very plump cheeks, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, lightly arched lips, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, bare feet, blonde mohair wig, antique costume included. Condition: generally excellent, small chip on back right leg rim. Marks: 4. Comments: Kestner, circa 1880. Value Points: rare early model with exceptional detail of body sculpting including well-defined knees and tiny ankles.
