8" (20 cm.) chase. 6 1/2" lady doll. The doll has bisque shoulder head with blonde sculpted hair in elaborate arrangement trimmed with black hair band and flowers, and with matching necklace, painted facial features, muslin body, bisque lower limbs, (frail) silk dress. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1875. Value Points: rare early dollhouse lady is standing alongside a wooden chaise a porteur (sedan chair) with hand-painted scenes in the 18th century Watteau style.
