Of ivory silk faille, the padded silk lined cap has a wide frou-frou ruffled brim edged with a wide gathered ruffle of embroidered lace, and with lace over pleated silk bavolet and silk ribbons and streamers. 9" overall length. 5" inside head diameter. Circa 1880.
