Bisque socket head with full elongated cheeks, blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, mauve blushed eye shadow, brush-stroked feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, pointy-tip nose, closed mouth with pale outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with flat-cut derriere and straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 10 Sch X (in shield, head). Comments: Schmitt et Fils, circa 1884. Value Points: gorgeous bebe with desirable pale bisque and soft blushing, antique wig, original body and body finish, pretty antique dress, lace-ruffled bonnet, undergarments, leather shoes.
