Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,Dehors neck articulation,almond shaped blue glass enamel inset eyes with spiral threading,dark eyeliner,delicately painted lashes and arched brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with pale accented lips,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,kid gusset-jointed poupee body with stitched and separated fingers,antique costume of white dotted Swiss gown with lace trim,undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Gaultier,circa 1868,with Dehors system of articulation allowing head to tilt side to side and forward in a realistic manner in addition to standard swivel. Value Points: superb large poupee with very fine pale bisque,sturdy body,rare Dehors system,lovely antique costume.
