7 1/2" (19 cm.) x 5 1/2". The heavy card stock box with grey paper cover and silver lettering "Jeu de Lot Enfantin" opens to a well-fitted interior with lotto cards and wooden number chips, designed for playing the popular parlor game, along with ten original paper wrappings, original holding miniature chocolate candies, each with a lithographed design of a colorful feathered bird. Excellent condition. The candy container was a luxury presentation box from prestigious Parisian chocolatier, designed for its later use as a charming parlor game. French circa 1880.
