29" (74 cm.) Pink-tinted porcelain shoulder head with solid dome, oval-shaped face, very elongated strong throat, sloping shoulders, painted facial features, pale blue upper glancing eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, feathered brows, circle accents at eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with center accent, brunette human hair, early muslin stitch-jointed body with porcelain arms to above the elbows, and porcelain lower legs with painted black ankle boots, ivory silk gown with metallic thread embroidery, undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 000/. Comments: attributed to Lippert & Haas of Schlaggenwald, circa 1850. Value Points: rare early model in fine larger size with superb quality of porcelain and painting, and having maker's signature. Ex-collection Puppen and Spielzeug Museum of Vienna.
