24" (61 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with downcast pouting expression, brunette mohair wig, composition bent limb baby body, wearing lavish multi-layered antique costume with cutwork and embroidered detail. Condition: generally excellent, original body and body finish. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 119/Baby 62. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912, a continuation model from the firm's art reform series. Value Points: extremely rare model, few examples of this "119/Baby" model are known to exist, this example with finest quality of bisque and sculpting, original body and body finish.
