Description
26" (66 cm.) x 22". Painted against a shaded brown background is a smiling faced child, with long flowing blonde curls, wearing blue dress and jacket, white ankle boots and a wide-brimmed bonnet, and holding onto a rolling hoop. The back of the canvas is stamped "Gesetzlich geschutzt DRGM 29066B" and the painting is set in a gilded wooden and gesso frame. Painting is excellent, some repairs on frame gesso. Germany, early 1900s.
