15" (38 cm.) All-composition with socket head, green sleep eyes, lashes, painted lower lashes, dark eye shadow, feathered brows, closed mouth with ruby lips, black human hair wig in original coiffure, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent, eyes faded. Marks: Scarlett O'Hara Madame Alexander (original cloth tag on costume). Comments: Alexander, circa 1939. Value Points: rare costumed model of the beloved American heroine of Gone with the Wind, released during the premiere of the film, the costume comprises coral taffeta gown and bonnet, black velvet jacket with lace sleeves and collar, hooped petticoat, pantalets, socks, shoes.
