18" (46 cm.) overall. 6"l. of head. Carved wooden shoulder head with deeply-sculpted hair and facial features, painted complexion and features, blue eyes, black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, closed mouth, firmly-stuffed upper torso and kid arms, wire cage lower body. Condition: fair/good, original finish with craquelure overall. Comments: Continental, early 1800s. Value Points: excellent detail of hair carving, original unrestored finish, original costume including elaborate coiffe.
