Description
16" (41 cm.) Standing upon a velvet-covered wooden base with gold fringe,is a bisque head character with blue glass paperweight inset eyes,painted curly lashes,brush-stroked brows,closed mouth with sculpted teeth,brunette human hair,carton torso and lower legs,wire upper arms and legs,wearing brown silk jester costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: circa 1890. Value Points: when wound,music plays; the jester has very fine sculpting detail of facial expression,and carries little bisque head marotte.
