Solid domed bisque socket head with painted boyish hair, forelock curls, intaglio blue eyes, one-stroke brows, closed mouth with impish smile, impressed cheek dimples, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 500 Germany A 12 M. Comments: Marseille, Germany, circa 1910, from their art character painted eye series. Value Points: wonderful definition of intaglio sculpted eyes, impressed cheek dimples.
