Thick paste porcelain shoulderhead with solid dome, slightly-tinted complexion, very plump cheeks, painted facial features, bright blue painted upper glancing eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, brown one stroke lashes, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with full lips, blushed cheeks, original brunette mohair wig, original muslin body, plump porcelain arms to above the elbows, porcelain lower legs with bare feet, fine antique costume includes gown, undergarments including corset. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1860. Value Points: rare and appealing model with original wig, body, porcelain limbs, original costume. The doll is posed on antique carved and (worn) upholstered arm chair, with her feet resting upon a mahogany and needlepoint footstool, which are included.
