10" (25 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta shoulderhead of young girl posed gazing in a questioning manner, sculpted brown curly center-parted hair waved loosely to the back and forming into a casual loop, with little curls tumbling onto her shoulders, sculpted pierced ear lobes, enamel inset eyes, partially-parted lips with painted teeth, tow-wrapped posable body, carved wooden arms and legs, bare feet, wearing fine original silk costume. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, late 1700s.
