Brown-complexioned bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,brown glass enamel inset eyes,painted lashes,black feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with accented lips,pierced ears,black mohair wig over cork pate,French brown kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at elbows,hips and knees,stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: F.G. 2. Comments: Gaultier,circa 1878,from a series of exotic models created for to appeal to Eastern-culture travelers to the 1878 Paris International Exposition.
