Bisque socket head,large blue glass side-glancing googly eyes,painted curly lashes,single-stroke brows,button-shaped nose,closed mouth with accent line,blonde mohair wig,five-piece paper-mache body,red velvet coat and bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: G. 253 B Germany A 10/0 M. Comments: Marseille,commissioned for the New York importer George Borgfeldt,circa 1925. Value Points: wonderful expression with fine luminous bisque,dramatic large eyes.
