Boy and girl, each with hand-pressed paper mache shoulder head having firmly pressed facial features, oil-painted brown complexions with painted facial features, shaded brown eyes, painted brown and black eyeliner, black brows, tiny pointy nose,closed mouth, hint of blush on cheeks, unusual fleecy hair with tight curls or long ringlet curls, attached to muslin stitch-jointed body with long floppy limbs, and each wearing old worn costumes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: provenance unknown. Comments: wonderful folk dolls of great charm and imagination.
