Description
4 1/2" (11 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, single stroke brows, painted lashes, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted stockings and black five-strap heeled shoes, antique costume. Condition: bisque head and limbs are excellent, torso is original albeit with restoration. Marks: 2 1/2. Comments: Kestner, circa 1880. Value Points: wonderful face on the early sought-after all-bisque.
