Description
13" (33 cm.) Posed dynamically in dramatic theatrical manner, having carved wooden head with pigmented gofun finish, painted fierce features, moustache, black silk fiber hair with whisk-style topknot, carved wooden hands and feet, painted stockings and blue shoes, wearing elaborate stiffened silk-brocade costume, and carrying sword. Mounted on original base. Good condition, weapons at back are not original. Meiji era, late 1800s.
