Description
17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, a small chip and reglue at back crown rim under wig. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 117 43. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912, the model known as "Mein Liebling". Value Points: especially fine bisque with fine luminous complexion, dear expression, original body and body finish, pretty antique costume and shoes.
