10" (25 cm.) diam. 6"l. doll. A wooden box is decoratively-covered in printed paper design and filled with woven threads in which are arranged a bouquet of woven flowers, leaves and ornaments and centered by a carved figure of woman with red flax hair and silk and flax costume. Condition: good, some paper wear, some fading of flowers. Comments: mid-1800s, the presentation was designed as a Valentine's Day offering. Value Points: rare Victorian decoration in preserved original box with accessories.
