19" (48 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, dark eyeliner, blushed eyeshadow, thick brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, brunette mohair braids over plaster pate, early composition and wooden body with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 13. Comments: Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: especially pretty child doll with closed mouth, lovely bisque, early original body in near mint condition, fine antique costume.
