10" (25 cm.) Bisque shoulder head lady of untinted pale bisque with blonde sculpted hair head by purple lustre scarf, white feather and green snood, painted facial features, tiny blue eyes, closed mouth, on original carton body with shaped skirt that contains clockwork mechanism, brass feet, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Patented July 15th,1862. Comments: Enoch Rice Morrison, circa 1862, his model trademarked "Autoperipatetikous", the automatic walking doll that marches forward when keywound at base. Value Points: rare model with beautifully sculpted face and hair, well-working mechanism.
