12" (30 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head of plump-faced boy, blonde sculpted hair in short boyish fashion, narrow blue squinting eyes, white eye dots, black and incised upper eyeliner, short brows, tiny nose, closed mouth in smiling expression with defined tongue tip, composition toddler body with jointing at shoulders and hips, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 7647 Heubach (sunburst) Germany 3. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1915. Value Points: rare model with unusual very plump face that emphasizes the laughter lines and dimples of cheeks, eyes and chin.
