18" (46 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of adult lady with brown sculpted hair in elaborate coiffure with arranged curls, cobalt blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, pierced ears, sculpted fancy bodice with elaborately painted bodice and bow tie, muslin body, bisque lower limbs, nicely costumed. Condition: piece broken at back shoulder plate. Comments: Germany, circa 1870, matching model to #175, with variations of decoration. Value Points: very luxe quality of decoration including lustre-edged collar, fancy bow tie, glass eyes.
