Description
11" (28 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, large round side-glancing blue eyes, grey eye shadow, painted lashes, rounded nose, closed mouth with impish lips, brunette mohair wig, felt body, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci (original paper label ink printed PF/39 on reverse). Comments: Lenci, late 1930s. Value Points: most endearing expression on the all-original shy boy, original costume comprises checkered shirt, black bib overalls, wooden clogs, basket, woven sun hat and clasping a bouquet of felt flowers.
