17" (43 cm.) Sienna-brown complexioned bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, black brush-stroked brows, accented nostrils, open mouth with very full coral-shaded lips, row of porcelain teeth, pierced ears, black mohair wig, brown composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1358 Germany Simon & Halbig S&H 5. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1900. Value Points: especially beautiful complexion enhanced by decorative glaze on coral lips, original body and body finish, original wig, wearing matching little sister costume to #176 of antique aqua twill dress and bonnet, undergarments, shoes and stockings.
