Description
8" (20 cm.) h. table. Resting upon a velvet covered maple wood table with fringed edging is a large wooden Erzebirge egg with elaborate hand-painted decorations which contains small Erzebirge wooden toys including carriage of colorful eggs pulled by two feathered birds, stagecoach with double team of horses, an egg-shaped wheeled cart with bunny passenger and hauler, wooden goblet, and tiny wooden egg with tiniest wooden doll (one arm missing) inside. Also included is a leather bound miniature album with more than 75 miniature tintype photos inside. Very good/excellent overall condition. Mid-1800s.
