10" (25 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with blonde painted curls peeking from a sculpted baby cap with pink ruffled edging, painted blue side-glancing googly eyes, one-stroke brows, closed mouth with shy smile, composition body with jointing at shoulders and legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: R 44 A 10/0. Comments: Theodore Recknagel, circa 1917, from their series of bonnet head googlies. Value Points: charming imp with well-modeled bonnet.
