19" (48 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blonde sculpted hair with arranged curls onto the forehead held by cobalt blue painted hair ribbon and bow, and having casual ringlet curls at the back of head, inset cobalt-blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brow, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, muslin stitch-jointed body, kid arms. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1880. Value Points: the beautiful doll has original body and costume; her rarity factors include glass eyes, rare coiffure and blue bow, and swivel head.
