11" (28 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, large brown eyes side-glancing to the left, painted lashes, high comma brows, rounded nose, blushed cheeks, little rosebud lips, light brown mohair wig with arranged braided bun at back of head, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci (original silver foil tag). Comments: Italian, Lenci, circa 1930s. Value Points: fresh vibrant condition, the little wide-eyed girl wearing original burgundy felt costume with applique cross-hatch designs, matching slippers, undergarments, yellow felt bonnet with black velvet trim, and carries a mohair fluffy duck in woven market basket. Note the duck variation with her "twin" sister, #302, yet each is original.
