15" (38 cm.) All-latex composition with swivel head, slender elongated torso and limbs, jointing at shoulders and hips, painted facial features which depict a shyly smiling older child, spiral-threaded hazel painted eyes with black upper eyeliner, applied lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with shy smile, golden blonde human hair wig, original dress, undergarments, shoes and socks. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: DC (intertwined, head and torso). Comments: Dewees Cochran from her studio dolls, circa 1962. Value Points: very beautiful gentle expression on the wonderfully-preserved doll by one of America's premiere mid-century artists.
