8" (20 cm.) doll. 10 1/2" cabinet. The slightly-larger scaled dollhouse furnishings include glass-front cabinet in the rococo style with lithographed paper cover and blue paper lining; dropfront rosewood desk with ebony columns and gilt accents, and with interior niches and five drawers (one drawer missing), one narrow upper drawer, and three lower drawers; 7 1/2" wide Empire settee with wide arms, original green upholstery and gilt paper accents. Germany, circa 1870. Along with a bisque shoulderhead gentleman with brown side-parted hair, painted facial features, muslin body, bisque lower limbs, wearing ivory silk Marquis costume with pearl edging, circa 1900.
