26" (66 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with pensive expression, accent line between the shaded lips, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, wearing antique folklore costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 117 66. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912. Value Points: fine matte bisque of the pensive child, original body and body finish.
