Description
10" (25 cm.) x 8". Styled as a slant-top desk, the box is covered with pale blue paper with gilt striping, oval center medallion scene, and hinges open to reveal the original tied-in set of luxury stationery and envelopes, and with a pencil box at the top which opens to reveal bone-handled writing tools, seal, and letter opener, and with little envelope stickers. Excellent, perfectly preserved condition of the luxury presentation. French, circa 1875.
