28" (71 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with pertly-shaped mouth, outlined lips, dimpled chin and lip corners, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body with straight wrists, pretty antique costume and shoes. Condition: generally excellent, Marks: L 1/2 made in Germany 15 1/2 (head) Excelsior (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: beautiful doll with choice bisque and painting, original wig, body and body finish.
