23" (58 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, dark upper eyeliner with painted curly lashes, white eye dots, grey lower eye shadow, fringed brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with two accent dots on lower lip, blonde mohair bobbed wig, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Lenci, circa 1930 from the popular 109 series, model 71. Value Points: the wistful-faced child is wearing her well-preserved vibrant red felt dress, coat, with wonderfully-embroidered flowers, plush edging, tam with tassel, and wool leggings with buttons at the sides, red felt trim, and black shoes.
