Description
12" (30 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, painted boyish hair, painted facial features, blue eyes with prominent black pupils, black upper eyeliner, short feathered upper slanted brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth modeled as though open with defined tongue tip and beaded upper teeth, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: A.B.&G. 1322/1 Deponiert. Comments: Alt, Beck and Gottschalk, circa 1912. Value Points: rare model with wonderful modeling including dimpled cheeks, fabulous detail of sculpting on toddler body, original body finish.
