21" (53 cm.) Pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes and lightly feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, ears pierced into head, wheat blonde human hair wig, kid poupee body with gusset jointing at hips, knees and elbows, stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Tiny flake on back shoulder plate, body very sturdy. Comments: attributed to Blampoix, circa 1865. Value Points: beautiful model whose very delicate bisque is complemented by cheek blush and brilliant eyes, wonderful antique costume.
