Description
4 1/2" (11 cm.) Each has bisque swivel head, sculpted short brown curly hair with forelock detail, tiny brown glass sleep eyes, tinted brows, open mouth, two porcelain lower teeth, loop-jointed bisque arms and chubby toddler legs, painted white socks and blue or pink one-strap shoes, wearing crocheted dress. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 11 (neck, arms and legs) 897 (legs). Comments: Bonnie Babe, designed by Georgene Averill, made in Germany, circa 1920. Value Points: delightful pair with especially fine detail of sculpted hair and laughter expressions.
