15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, rose blushed eye shadow, well-modeled pointy-tip nose, closed mouth with upturned lip corners, shaded and accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with flat-cut derriere. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Sch (head and derriere). Comments: Schmitt et Fils, circa 1882. Value Points: beautiful sculpting with well defined features, original signed body, lovely antique silk costume, bonnet, undergarments, leather shoes impressed with full figure of doll.
