Description
6" (15 cm.) Bisque swivel head with sculpted short curly tousled hair, forelock curl, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, accented nostrils, open mouth, outlined lips, two porcelain lower teeth, loop-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted white socks and pink shoes, antique costume. Condition: restoration to left foot, otherwise excellent. Marks: 897-15. Comments: Bonnie Babe, designed by Georgene Averill, circa 1925. Value Points: very fine modeling with outstanding sculpting, lustrous patina.
