Bisque socket head, large brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eye liner encircles the eye cuts, richly painted lashes and brows, rose blushed eye shadow, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the accented lips, separately modeled pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, wearing antique frock, undergarments, leather shoes marked G.D. Condition: faint old hairline on left forehead under wig, otherwise excellent. Marks: Depose E. 12 J. (and artist checkmarked on forehead) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1884. Value Points: fine luminous patina of bisque enhances the deeply sculpted features and rich brown eyes, original wig with Jumeau head band, original body and body finish.
