Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, lushly painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with defined space between the outlined lips, dimpled chin, separately-modeled pierced ears, brunette hand-tied human hair wig, cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGSG 13 (and artist checkmarks, head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1888. Value Points: beautiful bebe with very fine painting, original body and body finish, wearing antique embroidered lace dress with label at the waist "Elisabeth McCarthy 3513 Ainelie St., Phila, Pa", which was likely the name of the young girl who originally wore the dress.
