Description
11" (28 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, large brown eyes side-glancing to the right, painted lashes, high comma brows, rounded nose, blushed cheeks, little rosebud lips, dark brown mohair wig with arranged braided bun at back of head, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci (original paper label ink lettered P.F. 20). Comments: Italian, Lenci, circa 1930s. Value Points: with beautiful complexion, the wide-eyed girl is wearing original burgundy felt costume with applique cross-hatch designs, matching slippers, undergarments, yellow felt bonnet with black velvet trim, and carries a yellow duck, presented in original box. Note the duck variation with her "twin" sister, #301, yet each is original.
